CGTech to Demonstrate VERICUT 9.2 at all Four Manufacturing Technology Series Events

Irvine, CA – CGTech will feature VERICUT 9.2 at HOUSTEX, EASTEC, SOUTHTEC, and WESTEC. Visit the CGTech team for a demo at booth #1026 at HOUSTEX, booth #5352 at EASTEC, booth #1621 at SOUTHTEC, and booth #1337 at WESTEC. VERICUT is the industry standard for CNC machine simulation to detect errors, potential collisions, and areas for improvement. VERICUT reduces or eliminates the manual prove-out process, saving time while producing higher-quality parts.

The Manufacturing Technology Series brings together decision makers, major tool and technology suppliers and thought leaders across a variety of manufacturing disciplines. Each event features hands-on demonstrations, keynotes and panel discussions, and emerging manufacturing technology showcases to create an unmatched opportunity for networking and collaboration.

CGTech will participate in the Knowledge Bar at each event to present on the topic: Supercharge CNC Program Optimization by Leveraging Verification Software. The presentation will cover common optimization strategies, the value of optimizing feed rates in NC programs, and how verification software based on comprehensive cutting analysis can produce superior optimization that results in time and money savings.

The latest version of VERICUT brings improvements in speed for both collision detection and overall performance, a new 3DLive interface that simplifies the machine building process and while creating more realistic setups, and enhanced support for cutting tools and tool reporting.

“VERICUT has been designed to meet the needs of all types of shops in all manufacturing industries, from small job shops to larger suppliers, all of which are pushing the limits of CNC technology to be more competitive,” says VERICUT Product Manager Gene Granata. “Enhancements in 9.2 give shops of all sizes a significant boost in speed and optimization capabilities to produce more efficient programs faster, to get better quality products to market more quickly, while also conserving material, energy and human resources.”

VERICUT 9.2 provides amazing improvements to optimization, cutting graphs and the ability to import “intelligent” cutting tools with performance data. Users can view combinations of Cutting Conditions and Force Conditions, and compare the original versus optimized values in new Graphs and Tool Use windows. These windows can also be docked in VERICUT’s desktop to enable constant monitoring of machining conditions in real time during simulations, allowing them to spot potential flaws and inefficiencies to adjust strategies before running the programs on their machines.

Force is a physics-based module for VERICUT that analyzes and optimizes the NC program according to cutting conditions based on the material, cutting tool, and machining conditions. Clearly see underutilized cutting conditions, excessive forces, metal removal rates, power, torque, and tool deflections with Force. NC programs optimized with Force reduce machining times up to 25% or more while extending tool life.
