Position: Sales and Marketing Assistant
Hours: Full-time
Location: Stoke on Trent, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION
The position involves assisting the Sales Engineers in the process of creating, developing prospects and assisting in the management of the existing user base. This position requires a person who is organized, flexible, and comfortable with technical information. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will also work closely with Sales and Technical Support Engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, maintain, and grow an existing account base by promoting company products and services
  • Responsible for communicating with customers and prospects using telephone, web or e-mail
  • Communicate with Sales Engineers to ensure effective follow-up 
  • Maintain and develop accurate customer and prospect  data using the CGTech Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Manage CGTech’s educational accounts throughout the UK
  • Perform post-sale customer follow-up
  • Attend exhibitions, events and  user meetings as required
  • Represent CGTech in a professional and knowledgeable manner

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good writing and grammar skills
  • Motivated self-starter with time management and organization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications 
  • A clean driving license
  • A passport – the position may entail international  travel

In addition one or more of the following is desirable:

  • A Degree in Business Management or Marketing
  • Experience  with Web Design or Multi-Media 
  • Background in production Engineering

The position is available immediately and is subject to a six month probationary period.

Position: Marketing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Specialist assists with the development of materials consistent with the company’s overall marketing communication strategy. This person also pursues leads, qualifies prospects, and assists in the management of the sales process for both new and existing customers.  This position requires a person who is creative, flexible and comfortable with highly technical information.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help coordinate trade shows, user groups, and special events to cost-effectively promote the company’s products and services
  • Coordinate direct marketing mailings and email
  • Write articles, press releases, and customer case studies
  • Create demonstrative graphics for publication and tradeshow displays
  • Work with the marketing staff to develop advertisement campaigns that provide maximum product exposure
  • Work with others to create collateral material (brochures, flyers, multi-media)
  • Develop sales presentations
  • Data entry and database management
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing programs

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism, two years relevant experience, and be a motivated self-starter. Must be able to learn quickly and work equally well with a team and independently. Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and capacity to handle a high volume workload is vital to success.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and InDesign
  • Demonstrated graphical layout and design abilities
  • Fundamental understanding of marketing concepts
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:

  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM, software marketing, and/or metalworking manufacturing industry.

Position: Administrative Assistant
Hours: Full time
Location: Bangalore, India

JOB DESCRIPTION
Administrative Assistant responsible for general office operations, sales support, and basic accounting functions for CGTech India office.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and schedule travel and training
  • Order processing and data entry
  • Basic accounting activities including invoicing, cash receipt, payments, and expense reports 
  • Provide assistance to and evaluate resellers
  • Phone, filing, mail, office maintenance, and assist with other general front office duties
  • Special admin department projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or accounting, two years of accounting/administration experience, and be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.

The candidate must have:

  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient use and knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Positive and proactive attitude; good attention to detail
  • Must be able to speak/read/write English
